I am life-long resident of the St. Louis, MO area.  I live in the suburbs with my wife, Chris, and our three children. 

My career in photography started when a hostess at one of the restaurants I worked for asked if anyone knew how to take pictures.  She needed some photos for her portfolio.  I had a basic understanding of photography and I volunteered immediately.  Unfortunately, I did not know enough and the pictures were not professional, to say the least!  At that time, I vowed that if I ever put myself in that situation again, I would know what I was doing.  I went to school...

In 1995, my brother-in-law became the marketing director for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in St. Louis.  He asked if I wanted to give real estate photography a try.  I did... and I’ve been doing it ever since.  He likes to say that he got my foot in the door (he did).  I like to say that I kicked that door wide open. 

Over the years, I have experimented with various techniques and equipment, lighting in particular.  I have come up with what I think is the perfect combination of experience, technique, and equipment.  I trust that you will agree.
